Tarsus Water Protection Project

The aim of the project is to ensure that the vegetable waste oils, which have a great effect on the contamination of water resources, are collected in our city. For this reason, a vegetable waste oil collection system will be established in Tarsus. Since there is no waste oil collection system in Tarsus, the oils are either poured into the sink or placed directly in the bottles and are thrown directly into the garbage. Pouring oil in the sink causes pollution of our water sources. Bottled oils are mixed with soil and ground waters in the garbage collection areas.
